Place the screen frame in position on your work table with the spline side upward. Using your square make sure the corners are at xc degrees. Set a block in one corner. Bulldoze one of the iii/four" nails through the centre of the block and into your work surface. Using the same method, block the other three corners. Re-check each corner to make sure it is square. Using the diagram on the right, install your middle blocks. If your screen volition not take a center bar, y'all will even so need to block the center of the screen to keep the sides from bowing in during screening.

 The Center Bar

If your screen will have a middle bar, measure down from the peak of your screen and marking the location of the middle bar on both sides of the frame.

The length of the center bar volition be the width of the screen minus twice the width of the aluminum frame.

(CB Length = Screen Width - ii(Frame Width)

For Case :
If your Screen size is 36" ten 60", then the width of the screen is 36".
If you are using 5/xvi" x 3/4" aluminum framing and then the width of the framing is 3/4". The eye bar length is 34.50", the width of the screen (36") minus

twice the width of the frame (ane.5")
CB Length = Screen Width - ii(Frame Width) = 36" - ii(3/4") = 36" - one.50" = 34.50"
